Usborne (Canadian site: www.usbornebooksathome.ca) has been in existence for over 30 years (founded in the UK) and is one of the world’s leading children’s book publishers, with translations in almost ninety languages - including a substantial list of french offerings, and a smaller list of spanish selections. They have something fun and educational for children at every stage of literacy, from first word books to fiction. (This information was taken from the Usborne Canadian website indicated above)
So here's what I've put on my website here:
1. My blog: Snippets about the shows and things I'm doing, and postings of some of the different events I have, like Open Houses, etc. Keep an eye out here if you want to know when these Open Houses and such are!
2. A Hostess/Customer Specials page where I've provided detail on the specials for Hostesses and Customers - and kit information for becoming a Consultant. It's updated every month.
3. A New Titles page listing all the new titles for a given month.
4. An Usborne Reading Programme page that provides a summary of the various reading levels at which you can find wonderful, entertaining Usborne publications.
5. My Book Reviews: A page with links to some book reviews. As Ryan and I read new books, I'm trying to make a few comments about them.
I'm really excited about this venture and look forward to keeping you updated on all my news!
In addition to the Online catalogue that features english, french and spancsh (see the Links above), they have some fun stuff on the main website (www.usbornebooksathome.ca) like some cute e-cards you can send (check under the "Usborne is Fun" tab)!
Call or email me for a full catalogue (English or French), or the current stocklists (english, french, spanish) if you don't feel like cruising the online catalogue. And of course, if you want to order some books. An e-commerce website where you can order directly is coming shortly... this spring hopefully!
